History of Man Kee Dessert

Man Kee Dessert Group was founded in 1995, the first Hong Kong special "Sugarway Desserts" specialty store in Sai Kung, Hong Kong, after five years of unique family management and continuous research and development of innovation, and fortunately get the recognition of all diners. In 2000, we expanded two more outlets in Sai Kung adjacent to our main store and opened our first outlet in Newport Center, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon Peninsula, Hong Kong under the brand name of "Handmade Desserts", and in the same year, we set up a centralized food factory to provide food and beverages. In the same year, the Group set up a centralized food factory under its wholly-owned company "Half the Sky Industrial Company Limited" to supply food products to the stores. In order to achieve quality assurance of products, the Group set up an independent factory in Thailand in 2003 to directly purchase Thai fruits and packaged products for export to Hong Kong, so as to enable the customers to enjoy the best of Man Kee's desserts at all seasons, and up to February 2007, the Group had opened ****16 outlets in various commercial, tourist and shopping districts in Hong Kong. In February 2007, MK Dessert Group has opened ****16 outlets in various commercial and tourist shopping areas in Hong Kong. With an average annual turnover of approximately HK$70 million, the Group is now a well-known brand and navigator in Hong Kong's dessert industry, and plans to expand its dessert empire in Mainland China and Southeast Asia. In May 2006, members of the Manki Group visited Changsha several times to inspect the market and fully recognized the development potential of Manki in Hunan. In August of the same year, they signed a franchise contract with Changsha Manki Dessert Co., Ltd. authorizing it to be the sole agent in Hunan Province. in October 2006, Changsha Manki Dessert Co., Ltd. opened a centralized food processing plant with a floor area of more than six hundred square meters, and opened Changsha Hongming Store and Jiefang West Road and Dongpailou Stores in two months. In addition to operating the existing headquarter store in Sai Kung, Hong Kong, the Group has strategically opened chain dessert outlets in various local commercial and tourist districts and trendy shopping malls. As of September 2009, the Group has opened ****19 self-operated "Mang Kee Dessert" outlets in Hong Kong, spreading across Hong Kong, Kowloon, the New Territories and the outlying islands.
