Schisandra chinensis is mainly produced in Xiaoxing 'anling and Changbai Mountain, mainly distributed in Liaoning, Jilin and Heilongjiang provinces in the northeast, followed by Hebei, Shanxi, Shaanxi, Ningxia, Shandong and Inner Mongolia, and also distributed in North Korea, Japan and Russia.
