Alias: Mountain Astronomical Grass, Sangxuecao, Umbrella Grass, Golden Button, Big Yellow Flower, Yellow Sophora alopecuroides, Sophora alopecuroides, Sea Dragon, Mountain Bone Skin and Black Jieguan.

It comes from the astronomical herb Spilanthes acmella (L.)Murr., belonging to the genus Cynanchum in Compositae, and is used as medicine as a whole herb. It can be harvested all year round, fresh or dried.

Pungent and warm in nature.

Functions: detoxification and diuresis, relieving cough and asthma, detumescence and pain relief. Used for malaria, toothache, enteritis, dysentery, cough, asthma, whooping cough and tuberculosis. External use for treating poisonous snake bites, dog bites, carbuncle and furuncle.

Usage and dosage 3 ~ 5 yuan; Appropriate amount is applied externally, and fresh products are pounded and applied to the affected area.

Pay attention to pregnant women with caution.

Remarks (1) belong to the same species of red copper water plant, Spiranthes paniculata wall. EXDC. Also known as golden button, small copper hammer, yellow flower, everywhere red and sea dragon, they are similar in shape, and their distribution and efficacy are the same as those of the previous species.
