What area is the Bund in Shanghai?
Source encyclopedia

The Bund is located on the Huangpu River in Huangpu District, downtown Shanghai. It is a scenic spot in Shanghai, surrounded by landmark landscapes such as the Oriental Pearl and Jinmao Building in Pudong, located on the other side of Huangpu River. This is a must for tourists visiting Shanghai. The Bund is also called Zhongshan Dongyi Road since 1943, with a total length of about 1.5 km. It starts from Yan 'an East Road in the south, reaches Baidu Bridge outside Suzhou Creek in the north, and faces Huangpu River in the east. On the west is the financial center and foreign trade organization concentration area in the old Shanghai period, which is composed of 52 Renaissance classical buildings with different styles, including Gothic, Romanesque, Baroque, and Chinese and Western styles. Known as the "World Architecture Expo Group". The back of the canopy on the Bund in Shanghai has been changed a lot by many new skyscrapers. As an advantage of urban resources, Riverside is even scarcer and more expensive under the dual trend of scarcity of exploitable land resources and intensified contradiction between supply and demand in the center of Shanghai. The absolute beauty of the South Bund, the rising star of the North Bund, the virgin land development of the East Bund and the beach source will gradually merge into one, showing the majestic momentum of "the first bay of Pujiang" and bearing the great historical mission of Shanghai Puxi Riverside Renaissance.
