1. Verify that Windows is set to turn on Bluetooth.
A. click [start ]( 1), and then click [settings ](2).
B. Click [Device ](3) and confirm whether the [Bluetooth] function is turned on (4).
2. Make sure that your laptop has Bluetooth function and the device is enabled.
A. Click the right mouse button (1) at [Start], and then click [Device Manager ](2).
B. In [Device Manager], find out whether the device type has [Bluetooth ](3).
* * Note: If [Bluetooth] is not displayed, it means that your laptop does not support Bluetooth. If [Bluetooth] is available, please continue with the following steps.
C click the triangle (4) next to the [Bluetooth] device type. If there is [arrow mark ](5) on the Bluetooth icon, it means that the Bluetooth function is not enabled. Right-click [Intel Wireless Bluetooth], and then click [Enable Device ](6).
* * Note: Different laptop models may have different Bluetooth device names. **
3. Check whether there are any updates in widcomm.
A. Open [Device Manager], right-click the Bluetooth device [Intel Wireless Bluetooth] (1), and then click [Update Driver ](2).
* * Note: Different laptop models may have different Bluetooth device names. Since you need to search for updates through the Internet, please make sure that there is an available network in your area and connect your laptop to the Internet. **
B. Click [Automatically search for updated driver software ](3).
C. At this time, the laptop will automatically search the Internet and install the driver.
D. If there is no update available or the problem persists after automatically updating the driver, click [Close ](4) and continue with the following steps.
4. Uninstall widcomm and download and install the driver in ASUS official website.
* * Note: The Bluetooth device of the same laptop may have different manufacturer names. Please record the name of the manufacturer correctly, so as to download the corresponding driver in ASUS official website. **
The manufacturer of the Bluetooth device in this sample picture is [Intel].
A. Open [Device Manager], right-click the Bluetooth device [Intel (R) Wireless Bluetooth (R)] (1), and then click [Uninstall Device ](2).
B check [Delete the driver software of this device ](3), and then click [Uninstall ](4).
C download and install widcomm in ASUS official website. Learn more about how to search and download drivers.
* * Note: Please find the manufacturer driver corresponding to your laptop Bluetooth device. The manufacturer in this example is [Intel]. **
D. After the installation, please restart the computer and try to pair the Bluetooth device.
