Miso has many names in China, such as black bean sauce, soy sauce and so on. Miso is a kind of fermented food, which is made of different types of Aspergillus fermented by soybean and salt. Compared with miso, bean paste and bean paste in Northeast China, miso does have many similarities in production technology and use.
