Huang tian zhen is a famous "Hometown of Horseshoe Bamboo Shoots" in China and an important immigrant town in the reservoir area of Shuikou Hydropower Station in Fujian Province. Due to the favorable conditions such as mild climate, warm winter and cool summer, abundant rainfall, warm air and abundant sunshine, a stable and suitable natural ecological environment has been created for the growth and development of horseshoe bamboo shoots in Huangtian. The town's cultivated land area is 257 16.62 mu, forest land area is190,000 mu, forest coverage rate is 65%, and timber storage volume is 350,000 cubic meters. It is one of the four major forest areas in Gutian County. The annual output of horseshoe bamboo shoots in this town reaches 50,000 tons, with an output value of nearly 100 million yuan. Freshwater culture is unique, with a water area of 2,300 hectares in the town, which is rich in high-quality freshwater fish such as freshwater eel, Minjiang freshwater shrimp, China hairy crab and southern catfish.
