Public security, market supervision, ecological environment and water conservancy departments assist in the implementation of these rules. Chapter II Protection Objects of the catchable standards Article 4 The following minimum catchable standards for aquatic animals:
(1) Marine fish: small yellowtail, body length of eighteen centimeters; striped bass (swordfish), anus length of twenty-four centimeters; herring (catfish), fork length of thirty-one centimeters; hake (big head), body length of twenty-eight centimeters; mackerel (mackerel mackerel), fork length of twenty-two centimeters; Spanish mackerel, fork length of forty-five centimeters; goggle-eyed plaice ( longneck), length seventeen centimeters; yellowcap flounder (smallmouth), length nineteen centimeters; stone flounder (rock sole), length nineteen centimeters; half-smooth tuna (ox tongue), length seventeen centimeters; tooth flounder (toothpick), length twenty-seven centimeters; yellow goby (moonraker), length twenty-three centimeters; white goby (white minko), length seventeen centimeters; pompano (mirrorshark), length twenty centimeters by forks; true snapper (gagi), length nineteen centimeters; minnow (minnow), body length thirty centimeters; sea bass (perch), body length forty centimeters; pronghorn (red-eyed pronghorn), body length thirty centimeters; mullet (white-eyed pronghorn), body length twenty-seven centimeters; and Pacific herring (mackerel), fork length twenty-two centimeters.
(ii) Freshwater fish (all lengths refer to body length): crucian carp and balsam carp, seventeen centimeters; big silverfish, thirteen centimeters; bream and pomfrets, twenty-three centimeters; carps and heavy-lipped fishes, twenty-seven centimeters; yarrow and channel catfish, twenty-seven centimeters; and bluegill, grass carp, silver carp, bighead carpetfish, forty-four centimeters.
(c) Shrimp: shrimp, eagle claw shrimp, green shrimp, and hairy shrimp by harvest period.
(iv) Crab (length refers to the vertical distance from the central spine of the cephalothorax to the posterior edge of the armor): pike, seven centimeters.
(5) Others: sea shellfish, seventeen centimeters in full length for fresh products and seven centimeters for once-processed products; sea urchins, five centimeters (the diameter of the shell after removing the spines); and soft-shelled turtles, seventeen centimeters (the diameter of the longest part of the dorsal carapace), provided that picking up of soft-shelled turtle eggs is not permitted.
The key protected species that are artificially cultured and augmented shall refer to the relevant catchable standards in this Article. Article 5 In the catch of the voyage, the proportion of the key protected species below the allowable catch standard: the sea shank species shall not exceed twenty-five percent, of which the sea shelter shall not exceed three percent for each catch; freshwater aquatic species shall not exceed five percent.
When dense juvenile fish are encountered in fishing operations, the fishing ground shall be transferred. Chapter III Closed Season and Closed Areas Article 6 The closed season for the following protected objects:
Shrimp, natural in accordance with the relevant state regulations, and artificial proliferation in accordance with the provisions of the Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs; river crabs, from November 16, to the following September 15; arkshells, from June 15, to September 15; arkshells, from June 15, to August 31; clams, horseshoes clams, horseshoe clams and flower clams, from June 15 to August 31; clams, sand clams and corbicula, from May 15 to July 31; four-horned clams, white corbicula and white ark shells, from June 15 to August 15; oysters, from June 15 to August 15; scallops, from May 15 to August 31; abalones, from July 15 to August 31; razor clams from May 1 to July 20; red whelk from July 1 to September 10; scallops from June 1 to August 31; sea shells from June 20 to August 31 in the Bohai Sea and June 1 to August 31 in the Yellow Sea; jellyfish from June 20 to August 20; sea urchins from August 16 to the following year. 16th and ending on May 31st of the following year; turtle, starting from June 1st and ending on July 31st; nori, starting from April 1st and ending on May 31st; rockweed, starting from November 1st and ending on February 28th of the following year. Article 7 The closed season for the following gears:
Midge nets, small-eye ankang nets, river tension nets, small boom tension nets, tension nets, and small-eye pick-and-roll nets, from June 5 until September 25; sleeve nets, from May 30 until August 10 for the first and second cell of the 15th fishing area, the third, sixth and ninth cells of the 14th fishing area, and the second cell of the 27th fishing area (and from May 30 until September 30 for the rest of the fishing area ); vat nets and altar nets from May 30 until September 30; whisker cage nets, landing nets, blue shrimp inverted curtain nets and beam nets from July 1 until August 31; drift gillnets in fishing areas 1, 2, 3, 4 and 9 from June 20 until August 20; and freshwater fishing gears from May 1 until June 30. Article VIII closed areas for the following fishing vessels:
Motorized trawlers shall be subject to the State Council's "Order on the Closed Areas for Motorized Trawl Fisheries in the Bohai Sea, Yellow Sea and East China Sea" and related regulations.
Fishing vessels with more than seventy-nine horsepower are not allowed to enter the sea north of 40°20′ north latitude and west of 121°30′ east longitude to fish for ark shell roe.
