Grass carp must be neat and healthy, with a size of about 100g/ tail, and other supporting species, especially carp, should not be larger than grass carp.
Grass carp feeding: In ponds where grass carp are mainly raised, the feeding amount of grass carp should be controlled at about 60% of the total feeding amount. 800- 1000 grass carp, 500 silver carp, 100 bighead carp and 120 carp can be put in every 667 square meters (crucian carp cannot be put), such as 300-400 carp.
The following are the daily elements to prevent fish diseases.
Thoroughly clean the pond: before stocking, 80 kilograms of quicklime must be used in the pond according to 667 square meters.
Disinfection of fingerlings: Before stocking, soak fingerlings in 3%-4% salt solution for 0/5min, or use 10 ml/kg bleaching powder and 8 ml/kg copper sulfate for disinfection.
Feed disinfection: disinfect the feeding ground every 15 days from June to September. The method is to dissolve 500 grams of bleaching powder in water after the fish is finished, and then scatter it around the feeding place. Bags and baskets are also ok.
Limit food intake: Grass carp is gluttonous. As long as the environment is suitable, its food intake is basically unrestrained. In the hot season, it is especially necessary to limit the food intake of grass carp, which can generally be fed to 80% full. Don't let grass carp eat it at night, and fish out the leftovers every day.
Disinfection of water quality: it must be disinfected every 15 days from May to September.
