Not in the wild, you can catch the shell-less Sea Turtle evolving into the Sea Hare Beast on Route 120. The Pokemon Ultimate Emerald Sea Hare Beast Catch is a water-attribute Pokémon that lives in wetlands as well as near the sea, where it normally lives.
But as long as its skin doesn't dry out, it can also move around on land, and it will change the shape of its body depending on the environment of the place it lives in, but it won't see a big difference in its abilities, although it's also thought that its appearance changes due to the food that it eats, although that's still unconfirmed.
Pokémon gameplay
The gameplay of choosing one's adventuring companion from three different initially-obtained Pokémon runs through most of the Pokémon series of games, from the GameBoy game Pokémon Red and Green to the Nintendo 3DS game Pokémon Ultimate Sun and Ultimate Moon. Players can choose from grass-, fire-, or water-attributed Pokémon, which vary by region.
For example, in Pokémon Fire Red Leaf Green, players can choose between the Mythical Frog Seed, the Genie Turtle, and the Lesser Fire Dragon. Exceptions exist in Pokémon Pikachu, where the player is gifted the electric-attributed Mouse Pokémon, the series' mascot, Pikachu; all three of the initially-obtained Pokémon in the game's red and green versions can be acquired solo over the course of the game.
Another long-lasting playstyle is that the player's arch-enemy will always choose the initially-obtained Pokémon that restrains the player attribute-wise. For example, if the player chooses the fire-attributed Little Fire Dragon, the arch-enemy will choose the water-attributed Genie Turtle.
