Chronic bronchitis is a chronic inflammation of the trachea, bronchial mucosa and surrounding tissues caused by long-term physical and chemical stimulation, repeated infections and other comprehensive factors. The common causes include: repeated viral and bacterial infections, air pollution, cold air stimulation, allergic factors, and internal factors of the body. It is especially worth mentioning that smoking significantly increases the incidence of this disease.

Chronic bronchitis is further divided into: chronic simple bronchitis and asthmatic bronchitis. This disease belongs to the categories of "internal injury cough", "phlegm syndrome", "drinking syndrome", and "asthma syndrome" in traditional Chinese medicine.

It is used for coughs with excessive phlegm, white and sticky phlegm, light and fat tongue, white and greasy tongue coating, and slippery pulse. Take orally, 9 to 15 grams each time, 2 times a day.

Cough tablets are composed of aster, tangerine, citrus aurantium, rhizome, schisandra, tangerine peel, dried ginger, schizonepeta, poppy shell extract, licorice and other medicines. Function: regulate the lungs and eliminate phlegm, relieve cough and asthma. It is suitable for chronic bronchitis caused by exogenous cough, excessive phlegm, thin, white and sticky color, cough and even wheezing, or original cough and asthma due to cold, with excessive phlegm that is difficult to cough up. Take orally, 2 tablets each time, 3 times a day. Pregnant women, infants and lactating women should not take this product. Use with caution in those with dry cough caused by lung heat or dryness and expectoration with bloody sputum.

Guilong Kechuanning Capsule is composed of cassia twig, keel, pinellia, coptis, etc. Function: resolve phlegm and relieve cough, reduce phlegm and relieve asthma. It is used for coughs, asthma, and excess phlegm and saliva caused by wind-cold or phlegm-dampness blocking the lungs. Take orally, 3 capsules each time, 2 times a day.

Guilong Kechuanning Capsules are suitable for patients with phlegm and salivation and asthma. Daihu Powder clears the liver and lungs, reduces adverse effects and relieves troubles. It is suitable for those with cough, less phlegm, bitter mouth and dry throat, irritability and irritability. Both Baihe Gujin Oral Liquid and Hapandingchuan Pills can be used for chronic bronchitis with non-star type lung yin, the latter has a slightly stronger effect of replenishing qi and lowering qi. Jinkexi Capsules and Xinbitaoxian Tablets are both used for cough and asthma due to lung and kidney qi deficiency. The former has a stronger effect on nourishing lung and kidney qi, while the latter has a stronger effect on resolving phlegm and relieving cough than the former.
