Taro usually bears fruit in one year, usually blooms in August and matures in September 9- 10/October.
Taro originated in tropical places such as China, India and Malay Peninsula, including Guangdong, Guangxi, Fujian, Jiangxi, Hunan and Sichuan. Taro is available all year round, because many taro are planted in greenhouses now, so it will be available all year round.
