How long can vacuum-packed zongzi be kept without refrigerator?
There are two kinds of vacuum-packed zongzi: raw zongzi and cooked zongzi. Cooked zongzi can be eaten directly, while raw zongzi should be heated before eating.
The zongzi stored at room temperature, if it is vacuum-packed raw zongzi, is marked as 6 months or 9 months in the market, but a few vacuum zongzi are marked as 1 year or 18 months.
Cooked zongzi is a kind of cooked food. When stored at room temperature, its shelf life is only about one to two weeks, but if stored in the freezer, the storage time can be temporarily extended.
