Japan's Kagawa Prefecture is a more economically active place, where the natural resources and ecological environment is very good, the humanities environment is also second to none in existence, as well as the food here is genuinely unforgettable, the following to share with you Japan's Kagawa Prefecture more than a detailed travel guide.
The destination of this trip is Kagawa Prefecture, which is the northeastern prefecture of Japan's Shikoku Island, and is also the smallest prefecture on Shikoku Island. The climate is mild, with warmth and little rain throughout the year, making it one of the least rainy regions in Japan.
Kagawa Prefecture is seldom known by the people of this country, although it is one of Japan's famous tourist destinations, with the scenic Seto Inland Sea National Park, and historical sites such as Zentsuji Temple, the Golden Dagger Bijou Palace, Yashima Island, and Kuribayashi Park.
Rather than the well-known travel destinations of Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto and Hokkaido, Kagawa is one of the few niche destinations that is not saturated with commercial tourism.
Five days and four nights, my little refreshing trip to Kagawa, Japan. Wanted to show you how nice and quiet it is there.

Tips
1, most of the drugstores can brush visa and UnionPay card, but also WeChat and Alipay, so in addition to buy water, buy snacks and other cash, do not need to bring a lot of cash. 2, this time to live in the hotel, in addition to Takamatsu Higashi-Rei hotel, the other three nights can be soaked in the hot springs, do not miss it. Looking at the stars and soaking in the hot spring, very cozy. 3, Kagawa is very quiet, not too many tourists. I went to the beginning of June, belonging to the tourist off-season. Spring cherry blossom season and fall foliage season when relatively more tourists, but also than other Japanese tourist attractions are too few. It's less crowded and beautiful, and well worth a visit.Day 1 Shanghai Pudong - Takamatsu, Japan - Rayoma Oedo Onsen Hotel
8:20 am, Shanghai Pudong Airport, Spring Airlines, I sat in the window seat, looking out the window. Another flight to a strange place.
10:50am, outside the airplane window were low hills and divided pieces of oddly shaped farmland. The voice of the stewardess came from the cabin: our flight will be arriving soon...
At 11:00, we landed at Takamatsu Airport, twelve o'clock local time. Hungry to seek food, a bowl of beef udon noodles, to start this Kagawa trip.
After lunch stayed in Kagawa's Rayoma Oedo Onsen Hotel, a resort hotel with hot springs, amusement park and dining, perfect for parents and children, and girly grown-ups~
"Play" & "Healing ", this is Kagawa's dream kingdom: Rayoma Resort.
The rooms are also mostly family rooms, with three beds, just right for a family of three.
Looking out from the window of the room, the bridge, the wooden house, the windmill, the distant mountains, the near water... A freshness.
Put down your luggage and go play! "Leoma Resort is the largest amusement park in the Shikoku and Chugoku regions of Japan!
Divided into an amusement park, New Reoma World (NEW Reomaワ_ルド), a hotel, Reoma no Mori, a natural hot spring, Mori no Yu, and a "Journey to the Orient" area that reproduces Asian architecture, the resort offers the following facilities Reoma Water World (outdoor pool only available in summer) offers a space for play and healing.
The hotel has this shuttle bus to the playground, which is pretty kawaii. But it's a ten-minute walk from the hotel to the entrance of the playground.
The little train, the cartoon characters, the Ferris wheel... It's like entering a fairy tale world.
Birdflyer is the most classic ride in the park, like a bird flying in the sky.
That day, I was a child, as if I had returned to my carefree childhood days, playing to my heart's content.
Another must-see attraction at New Rayoma World is the Big Ferris Wheel. From the Ferris wheel, if the weather is fine, you can see the Seto Inland Sea from afar.
There are also the most popular virtual reality (VR) rides, and you can experience a swing like this one, where you are quickly shuttled through skyscrapers in an immersive way, causing your friends to squeal.
Also watched a live-action fairy tale song and dance show, sitting in the middle of the children, and they interacted with them. It was full of laughter.
Another must-see attraction at New Rayoma World is the Rayoma Flower World. No matter what season you visit, you'll see a sea of colorful flowers.
A flower in bloom is the simplest of beauties.
The corridors have a very Middle Eastern feel to them, reminding me of those days when I roamed Iran.
The garden is full of flowers, and it's a shame I'm not wearing a white dress.
This place is so perfect for posing and portraits, every scene is an excellent backdrop.
The "Leomar Flower World" is a quiet place, full of flowers, but with only a few visitors. A couple was sitting among the flowers, how wonderful.
There was an English garden at the far end that made me linger and not want to leave.
An arched promenade filled with roses, smelling the flowers and thinking that it would be every woman's dream to have such a garden.
How I would love to order a cup of coffee and sit here all afternoon. I sat in a chair outside and watched it all with a gentle heart.
Dinner was at the hotel. There is a rich buffet dinner. The hotel had yukata prepared and many people ate lunch in the restaurant in their yukata.
Most of the people here are locals who come here for vacation, not many foreign tourists to be found.
The seafood here is very fresh, the crab meat is sweet, and a bite is very satisfying.
I stumbled upon a tuna disintegration ceremony, which was really interesting and ceremonial.
How did a tuna that only four big men could lift disintegrate on the spot? They carry a tuna, shouting "wow, wow, wow, wow," around the room.
It's a yellowfin tuna, and it's really big. This chef's knife rose and a chunk of fish was separated.
This was probably the freshest tuna sashimi I've ever had in my life, and it melted in my mouth.
After dinner, I took a break and went to the nighttime amusement park, which was a completely different scene from the daytime.
The lights were mesmerizing and it was a more dreamy fairy tale world.
The buildings along the river were illuminated by the lights and the coconut trees fluttered their leaves in the breeze.
Standing on the bridge, I forgot what night it was.
Countless colored lights adorn the playground. The summer wind blows the tresses of my hair.
There is also a fantastic light show at night, reminding me of the time when I stood under the Northern Lights.
The next day Golden Dagger Bijou Shrine - Nakano Udon School - Wazami-Bon Making - Aeon Ayakawa
The next morning, we took a bus to Golden Dagger Bijou Shrine.
Kindenbiro Shrine is located in the western part of Kagawa Prefecture, Japan, on the hillside of Mount Elephantine, and is dedicated to "Kindenbiro". It has been a popular deity since ancient times for its ability to cure illnesses, avert disasters and bring good luck.
During the Muromachi period in the 14th century, when folk beliefs were at their height, "Kanebira worship" was a popular event, and many people still come from all over the country to visit the shrine.
On the way to Kanebira Shrine, there are many small stores on both sides of the road, and you will want to visit every one of them.
The worship road to the main palace on the hillside of Elephant Head Mountain, a **** there are 785 stone steps, all the way to walk, full of new green.
In fact, there are 786 steps in a ****, it is said that when the construction of this number is not good, and repair a step down, it became 785.
Thinking about the Japanese people do things, really too fine, even the number of steps are so entangled.
There are 1,368 steps to Sato Shrine, and you can see the plains of Seki from the front of the main shrine. If you can't walk, visitors can also take a sedan chair on the section before the gate halfway down the worship path.
Meeting a little brother, holding birdseed in his hand, he waited motionless for the birds to fly over and eat it. What a lot of patience that is.
There are not many tourists, planted a lot of cherry blossom trees, standing under the trees, imagining how beautiful it will be when the cherry blossoms bloom in the spring.
There are many traditional ceremonies held at Kondabira Shrine throughout the year, which are organized according to ancient rituals. "The Sakura Matsuri (cherry blossom festival) is held on April 10 every year, and under the blooming cherry blossom trees, clergymen, goddesses, and worshippers dressed in traditional festival attire parade through the quiet streets carrying cherry blossoms in their hands.
The more places you visit, the more you realize that you have never been. The more you go somewhere in the summer, the more you think about coming back in the spring, the more you think about coming back in the fall, and the more destinations you have in mind.
The world is too big to go through in a lifetime. The scenery that I meet is my scenery.
Before worshipping, you have to wash your hands and rinse your mouth. There are a series of prescribed actions, very interesting.
After walking down 785 steps, I finally reached the main palace and saw the "Golden Vihara".
In China, prayer bands are red, but here, notes with wishes written on them are white, tied in a knot and left here.
Pictures of many boats are hung high up in the sky, blessed by the Konpira.
Descending the hill and spending an hour or so browsing through the small stores is the way I like it.
Buy a local internet sensation "Wo San Poon" ice cream and a fridge sticker from the souvenir store without rushing.
The people here are very laid back, no fast pace, everything is slow. The waiters are super welcoming, smiling and saying "welcome" in Japanese.
Kagawa is famous for its udon noodles! The classic Japanese udon noodle dish, made with beef and broth, has soft noodles and a rich soy sauce.
For lunch, we stopped by the Nakano Udon School to learn how to make our own udon noodles.
Wearing aprons and gloves, everyone gets a slab-like block of noodles.
Don't you really know that udon noodles are made with your feet?
There was a great deal of merriment, with music playing as everyone stomped on the udon noodles.
This is the udon noodle teacher, and I made my own udon noodles.
Udon is one of the most distinctive Japanese noodles, and is an indispensable protagonist of Japanese restaurants. Its texture is somewhere between cut noodles and rice noodles, and is on the soft side.
That day, at noon, our lunch, we made our own udon noodles. Should we eat it, or not?
Late in the afternoon, we went out to the neighborhood to experience wabi-sabi making. It's only about ten minutes from Nakano Udon School.
Wasabi is a yellowish-colored, fine-grained sugar native to the eastern part of the Shikoku region, including Kagawa and Tokushima prefectures in Japan. The molds used to make Wazanbon are handmade and quite delicate.
Wearing an apron and gloves, a teacher taught us how to make it.
One chooses four favorite molds, we followed the instructions and began to do it. I chose a bird, a snowman, a shell and a flower, so cute!
Let's see what I made.
Each person has a box to bring back, very memorable. You have to leave it for half a month for this candy to become hard.
After making and three pots of sugar, there's the matcha experience.
One piece of sugar, one mouthful of matcha. The sweet sugar mixed with the bitterness of the matcha, a very peculiar flavor.
It seems that a visit to Japan is not complete without some shopping.
We spent the rest of that day shopping at the Aeon Ayakawa store. It took more than two hours, and we were so busy swiping our credit cards that we didn't have time to take any pictures.
In the evening, we stayed at Takamatsu Higashi REI Hotel, the room is not big but very comfortable. Staying in the downtown area, it has the feeling of entering the city.
Walking around Takamatsu city is neat and clean, there are many bicycles on the roadside here, which are people's means of transportation.
It's time to get off work, so I stood at the intersection and saw the people living here.
Takamatsu City (たかまつし) is located in Japan's Shikoku Island, the port city on the northeast coast of Shikoku Island, is the capital of Kagawa Prefecture, bordering the Seto Inland Sea. Commerce is well developed and it is the center of sea and land transportation on Shikoku Island.
The evening and friends went to eat a Japanese food, very tight.
A large portion of snapper sashimi was succulent. The presentation was also well thought out.
Every time I eat Japanese food, I am always impressed by the beauty of the bowls and plates. Every bit of it is like a work of art.
Day 3 Ferry to Kodo Island - Olive Park - Soy Sauce Factory - Angel's Path
That day, I left Takamatsu City and went to Kodo Island.
Sandwiched between Shikoku and Honshu, Kodojima is the second largest of the 3,000 islands in the Seto Inland Sea, and a popular and popular vacation island.
Kodo Island lives up to its name, covering an area of only 170 square kilometers, a fraction of the size, but almost every corner of the island is covered with tourist attractions.
We took a ferry from Takamatsu-Ikeda Port to Kodo Island.
The ferry had a rainbow painted on its hull and there was actually a giraffe on the deck of the ferry. So cute!
The ferry cm has a cafe where you can chat very leisurely. It was a cloudy day and the sea was gray. If it was sunny, it would have been beautiful.
First stop, went to Kodo Island Olive Tree Park.
The scenery is extremely similar to the Mediterranean coast, with olive tree plantations, herb gardens, and Greek-style windmills, etc. There is an olive tree memorial in the park.
I saw a flowering olive tree for the first time.
At the Olive Tree Memorial Hall, you can get a broom for free and go to the windmill to take a picture of you riding a broom. It's a classic look from the Japanese cartoon "Witch in the House".
Olive Tree Park is a beautiful, quiet park.
There are huge sculptures of trees and books that you can walk into.
At the Olive Tree Memorial, you can also pick out a postcard, put a stamp on it, and drop it in that very pretty mailbox.
Take a classic photo of yourself riding a broomstick at the windmill, and have fun jumping and skipping with your buddies.
Originally cool look that turns into a female psycho in a second.
Leaving Olive Tree Park, it was time to forage again.
Kodo Island is rich in olive oil, before lunch, we are in Tadasago Gate, mix their own bottle of olive oil, so olive oil has so much to learn.
Traveling is a really long knowledge.
This is a unique bottle of olive oil in the world, because I made it myself. I was able to take it home with me, which was a great experience.
At Tadasuemon, Kodojima, I tried the specialty olive oil dishes here for lunch. Olive oil salad, olive oil pasta, olive oil ice cream... Every dish here has olive oil in it.
Also bought a couple of olive oil hand creams, tried them out and they were very moisturizing.
Kodo Island is also rich in soy sauce, the home of soy sauce, you can go to attend the soy sauce factory, wooden barrel brewing, the air is full of the smell of soy sauce.
Soy sauce ice cream is the net food here, this kelp soy sauce ice cream, guess what flavor?
It's still the flavor of ice cream, it's not too salty and tastes good.
In the evening, it is suitable to go to the Angel's Path to see a sunset. Just a pity that the clouds were too thick that day.
Located in Ginba-ura, Dojo-cho, Odou-gun, the Angel's Path is a sandy path that appears in the sea at low tide twice a day and is about 1.5 kilometers long.
This place is widely known as a "holy place for lovers". It is said that if you walk along this path holding hands with your significant other, angels will descend on the sandbar and grant you a wish.
There is a black cat, lying on a rock, that has gotten used to being a star, and everyone who passes by will take a picture and pet it.
Many wishes are written on seashells and hung on branches by the sea. Is the man who wrote the vows with you still by your side?
With the regret of not seeing the sunset, we stayed at BAYRESORTHotel in Kodo Island, which is also a spa hotel, with a family room and floor-to-ceiling windows with a beautiful view of the sea.
The evening buffet at the hotel, back to the room rest will go to the hot springs. Japan's hot springs are men and women separately, and is a naked bubble Oh.
The night on the island is quiet. If it's a clear night, you can see the stars. It's a place where you can forget about the outside world as if you were isolated.
Day 4 Twenty-four Pupils Movie Village - Hanxia River Cable Car - Ferry - Takamatsu Chestnut Forest Park
It's a rainy day, and I have a transparent umbrella.
In the morning, I went to the "24 Eyes" movie village.
"24 Eyes" is a classic movie, and most Japanese know the plot. It was preserved as the setting for "24 Eyes," a movie about the friendship between teachers and students, and Japanese elementary school students love to come here for hiking.
The 24 Eyes Movie Village is not big, but it is very artistic. There's a lot of scene-stealing.
At the beach, you can take a photo of your visit.
This is the sea on that day, looking at the sea, suddenly feel so lonely.
This is the original classroom where the movie was made, still retaining its original appearance. I stood on the podium and acted as a teacher.
The rainy alley, I've been here, remember me?
There are twelve statues of teachers and students in the square, titled "Teacher, play!"
Kodo Island is also the filming location of "The Eighth Day of the Cicada", which I just read a while ago. It turns out that Kaoru and her mother's hermitage in the book is Kodo Island.
I've only read the book, but I've never seen the movie, so I thought I'd look for it when I got home.
The Kasumiga Stream in the center of Kodo Island is a famous maple-viewing spot, and is one of the three most scenic valleys in Japan, along with Yemagi Stream in Kyushu and Myogisan Stream in Kanto.
Imagine how beautiful the mountains will be in the fall with red leaves when you take the Kanshiakei cable car in just five minutes. So I thought, "Maybe we'll do it again in the fall?
If the weather is clear, you can see the Seto Inland Sea from the observation deck.
At Kanshiakei, I had lunch, which was a simple but exquisite meal.
After lunch, I said goodbye to Kodo Island and went to Kusakabe Port to take the ferry back to Takamatsu. It was nice to have a seat at the bow of the ferry, looking out at the sea and closing my eyes for a siesta.
Kuribayashi Park is one of the most famous parks in Japan, a three-star Michelin park, and a must-see in Takamatsu.
After returning to Takamatsu from Kodo Island, we headed straight to Kuribayashi Park.
At this small store, you can reserve a kimono experience. Walking around Kuribayashi Park in a kimono is the right way to open the park.
It takes more than 40 minutes to put on and take the kimono, so it's really complicated!
Kuribayashi Park is laid out with six ponds and thirteen false mounds, with a variety of scenery and a different look for each time of the year.
The garden too many red maple trees, let me once again imagine standing here in the fall. And this summer, is full of green.
This place, in the early to mid Edo period more than 300 years ago, was once the most famous 『Return to the Daimyo-garden』 in all of Japan.
The park is very quiet and there are not many tourists. After the rain, the air is so fresh that you always want to take a deep breath.
This is the most famous one, the travel companion took me, and one of my favorite photos of the trip.
I stood on the bridge and watched the scenery, and the people watching the scenery watched me from the mountain.
The night stayed in Takamatsu Salt River Hotel, pure Japanese tatami room, very like. The straw mattresses are laid out on the floor, and you have to change slippers when you enter the room.
In the evening, we had a barbecue at the Salt River Hotel, where we drank and chatted with our friends.
The meat here, whether it is beef or wild boar, is very good.
Day 5 Grilled Fish & Driftwater Experience - Takamatsu Airport - Shanghai Pudong Airport
This day you can sleep in until you wake up naturally, and take your time to go downstairs and have breakfast, which is exquisite.
Salt River Hotel belongs to the type of farmhouse in China, there are a lot of experience programs are fun.
After breakfast, I went with my friends to catch fish, which is said to be only found in Japan.
Knock the fish to death and then thread a bamboo stick through the mouth to the tail. Honestly, it's very de-stressing!
Especially watching the fish spasm before it dies, is it not ah is a bit heavy on the taste?
Slathered with salt and baked for about half an hour, really flavorful.
In between waiting for the grilled fish, we also went for the running water.
Picked up, it's about 20 meters of bamboo with clear water flowing through it. The noodles are in the flowing water, depending on how fast you can get your chopsticks down.
Isn't there also pineapple, yellow peaches, oranges and other fruits that flow through with the noodles. The noodles such as Kodo Island are handmade and really delicious.
Eating the flowing noodles is not really about the noodles, but the fun of scrambling.
When we left the Takamatsu Salt River Hotel, the owner and service staff waved red flags to bid us farewell. The five-day, four-night trip to Kagawa, Japan, was coming to an end.
The hotel is very close to Takamatsu Airport, which is just a short while away.
"We always speak of helplessness, of the unbearable turmoil of the soul in the face of reality. We always avoid expectations, thinking that desirelessness is the greatest chase in life."
Truthfully face the expectations in your heart, where you want to go, and leave right away! Don't leave too many regrets.
