The main manifestations of this disease:
1. Heartburn and acid reflux
Heartburn refers to the burning sensation behind the sternum and under the xiphoid process, which usually occurs one hour after a meal. It is easy to happen when lying down, bending over or abdominal pressure increases. Stomach contents that flow back to the mouth are often acidic, called acid reflux, often accompanied by heartburn. This is the most common symptom of this disease.
2. Swallowing pain and dysphagia
When there is severe esophagitis or esophageal ulcer, swallowing pain may occur, which is caused by gastric acid reflux stimulating sensory nerve endings in the upper and lower esophagus. Reflux can also stimulate mechanical receptors and cause esophageal spasmodic pain. In severe cases, it can be a sharp stabbing pain, which radiates to the back, waist, shoulders and neck, similar to angina pectoris. Due to esophageal spasm or dysfunction, some patients may have dysphagia, and when esophageal stenosis occurs, dysphagia will continue to increase.
I suggest you go to the hospital to see the gastroenterology department and take some medicine.
