The problem food covers a wide range, which makes people sigh: What else is safe and edible? Ensuring food safety is a "great event". Why do problems often appear in the fundamental issues of people's livelihood?
Of course, not all foods are unsafe at present, and some people will feel that they are "afraid of everything". Li Rite, director of the Food Science and Nutrition Teaching Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education, believes that the root of food safety problems lies in the lack of integrity. Due to the lack of trust between people, there is also a lack of trust in the food produced by others. Some people will cut corners in their own work, and business people will do things that are short of weight. When they buy food as consumers, they can't trust others completely.
Zhang Yongjian, director of the Food and Drug Industry Development and Supervision Research Center of China Academy of Social Sciences, pointed out that frequent food safety problems should not be underestimated. If it is not treated fundamentally, its adverse effects will be extensive and far-reaching, and even lead to the increase of social operating costs, the increase of family medical care burden and the loss of human resources.
