"Red nevus" is bright red, slightly higher than skin, with smooth surface and different sizes. Some are like needles, others like mung beans. It will bleed if it is broken, mostly in the chest and abdomen, followed by limbs and lips, and it is often multiple.

This is an abnormal skin and blood vessel disease that the elderly often suffer from. The medical name is senile hemangioma, or cherry hemangioma.

The etiology of the disease is unknown, which may be related to the aging and brittleness of skin capillaries. Generally, no treatment is needed. If bleeding often occurs, it can be treated by electrocautery or laser irradiation.
