Synopsis
Russian prisoner Boyka, who suffered a serious knee injury at the end of "The Ultimate Fighter 2," is no longer the intimidating prison fighter he once was, and is now forced to clean toilets. Then a new prison fighting tournament begins, an international competition that brings together the best fighters from prisons all over the world, with one attraction: the winner will win his freedom. Boyka must win back his dignity and his place in the ring ...... BLACK PRISON FIGHTERS RETURNS TO MIXED-MARTIAL FIGHTING, DIRECTOR Isaac Florentine has become a prominent genre director (or at least a well-known genre filmmaker) with a string of hit fight films including "The Ultimate Fighter 2/Black Prison Fighters 2" and "Loyalty: Border Patrol". He's become a well-known genre director (at least in the minds of fight movie fans), and while the overall quality of the films isn't stellar, the fight scenes are comparable to some of the classics from the 1980s and 1990s when Western fight movies were in their glory days, and that's a good thing for fight movie fans. The trailer for Undisputed 3, which he's directing again, is out now, and the black-ops fights are closer to the currently popular MMA style than they were in The Ultimate Fighter 2, and Scott Adkins, who was previously the villain in The Ultimate Fighter 2, is still in the role of Russian prisoner Uri Boyka, but this time he's in a different role, and he's in a different role than he was in The Ultimate Fighter 2. Boyka, but this time as the main character, and as you can see from the trailer, Uri Boyka has to fight his way out of the black prison cage to face more opponents. Just the ones known so far are Marko Zaror from Chile, a stuntman who has spent years in Hollywood and, like Atkins, is one of the non-Asian martial arts actors who have risen to prominence in recent years. Brazilian martial artist Lateef Crowder, who after making "Winter's Bounty" seems to have been taken as a suitable candidate for the movie's representation of the Brazilian war dance kenpo rera, in addition to starring as the game's Brazilian competitor, Eddie, in the film version of "Tekken," also stars as a Brazilian brawler in this movie. Of course there are Asian faces among the opponents, Ilram Choi from South Korea, who has practiced Taekwondo and a variety of martial arts since he was a child, and has been working as a martial artist in Hollywood for many years. The main character Scott Atkins is probably a favorite of Isaac Florentine, who took him from villain to star after The Ultimate Fighter 2/Blackjack Fighter 2 and Loyalty: Border Patrol, and this year created another martial arts film for him called Ninja. More than the main character Mitchell Jay White, here's a video of him training in preparation for The Ultimate Fighter 3, moving expertly as a professional MMA fighter.
