Turning to the lunar calendar, a bright red day appeared in front of my eyes: the Mid-Autumn Festival on August 15th. I am ecstatic, thinking about how to spend this wonderful day.

The so-called Mid-Autumn Festival is of course inseparable from moon cakes. Early in the morning, my parents and I went to the mall to "search" for moon cakes. I looked around and quietly found my favorite: "White Lotus Egg Moon", and immediately called my father to buy it, while my mother bought her favorite "wuyue Barbecued Bag". We came home with moon cakes and bright smiles.

We can't be idle when we go home, because today is grandma's birthday, and we have to give her a "surprise". Our "senior chef" father made a delicious bowl of "braised grass carp" with grass carp, which made people salivate. Not only did he braise grass carp, but he also cooked many good dishes, which were delicious and fragrant. Mom picked around in the cake shop, and finally chose a big cake: yellow and white cream with green grass on it. The old man stood there smiling with a peach in his hand for his grandmother.

Finally, at night, all the houses are brightly lit. We invited grandma to our house for dinner. As soon as grandma came in, we turned off all the lights. Grandma still doesn't understand. Before she could react, I immediately turned on the light and we cheered together: "Happy birthday, Grandma! Happy Mid-Autumn Festival! " Grandma was flattered and blushed. We let grandma sit at the dining table and share this delicious food with us. After a pleasant dinner, we helped grandma to the roof and sat her down. The table is full of moon cakes. Yes, we will "enjoy the moon" with grandma. While eating moon cakes, we chatted happily and watched the bright moon, and all our troubles went outside the cloud nine.

It was late at night, and the stars blinked with cold. However, we were still hot and enjoyed the most delicious cake with everyone.
