Reading Tang Poetry, written by Wei Depan, supervised by Gu Jianfen, composed by Zhang Hongguang, was included in the albums "New School Songs" and "20 10 National Children's Song Contest: 50 Winning Songs".

Gu Jianfen, a famous contemporary female composer, composed excellent ancient poems into notes in order to make her children more happy to get close to, learn from and inherit the classics of our ancestors. It is easy for children to learn knowledge and cultivate a sense of music in their leisurely singing.

Wei Depan, whose pen name is Wu Yi, was born in Jian 'ou City, Fujian Province in August, 1947. He is a national first-class ci writers and a lyric critic. Enjoy the special government allowance of the State Council. He is the director of the 6th and 7th China Musicians' Association, the editorial board of the Chinese Music Association's Dictionary, the executive director of the Chinese Music and Literature Society, and the executive director of the China Children's Musicology Society. Distinguished professor, School of Art, Xiamen University. Dozens of poems have won national awards, among which Dream of the Straits (Cui Zhen and Qu) won the outstanding works award of the 11th "Five One Project" in Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China and the first prize of the National Excellent Pop Song Creation Competition.

Gu Jianfen, a famous contemporary female composer, was born in Osaka, Japan in 1935. Her ancestral home is Weihai, Shandong Province. She graduated from Shenyang Conservatory of Music and is now the 10th honorary member of China Federation of Literary and Art Circles. Gu Jianfen's representative works include Rolling the Yangtze River East, Stones on the Beach, Singing and Smiling, Mother's Kiss, Affection of Green Leaves to Roots, Missing, Mother in Candlelight, Historical Sky, Today is Your Birthday, etc.
