1. First, prepare a picture. Right-click to view the properties of the picture. You can know that the horizontal and vertical resolutions of the picture are both 96dpi (dpi represents the resolution and is the same as the computer screen resolution), and the width is 2560. pixels, height 1440 pixels.
2. One thing to understand is that if you compress the image size, it is actually unlikely to increase the image resolution much, so it is not feasible to use Paint to compress the image size, and in the end The resolution is also uncontrollable.
3. Secondly, special image editing software must be used here. Using PS can intuitively set the value of the resolution we need without changing the size of the image. The trick is in the face of resolution. It’s not easy to use anymore. Use Photoshop to open the pictures that need to be modified.
4. Then click and select "Image Size" under the "Image" menu. You can see that the image size window has a document size and resolution setting. The current resolution value is 96dpi, which is the same as the above view. The image properties are the same.
5. Obviously, you can now change the resolution value. You can increase or decrease the image resolution yourself. First increase the image resolution to try the effect. Change 96dpi in the input box to 300dpi. At this time, you will find that the width and height of the pixel size above have also changed. This is not possible. You need to change the width and height back to 2560 pixels in width and 1440 pixels in height.
6. After confirmation, save the image as desktop to see the effect of the image. Right-click the mouse to view the properties of the new saved image. You can see that the resolution of the image has been adjusted to 300dpi according to our settings.
7. Of course, there are many photo editing software. Everyone needs to use PS differently. Choose according to personal preference. Here is another method of fixing pdi of pictures.
Word provides three methods of compressing images with fixed pdi values. In word, resolution is represented by ppi, ppi represents resolution, and the pdi above represents the numerical value of resolution. So how? For settings, use word to insert images, and then select the image compression function.
8. Then in the compressed image window, click Options, and you will see three fixed image output resolution values ??in the new window. Just select the appropriate value and confirm.
9. Complete the picture.
