The dried flowers are flattened irregularly triangular.

The lower part has a greenish-brown campanulate calyx with 5 calyx teeth, outside covered with short white hairs.

Petals 5 pieces, wrinkled, yellowish white or yellowish brown, with veins, unopened flower outside the flag petals, open that is reflexed outward, winged petals are located on both sides, keeled petals sickle hook; stamens 10, of which 9 bases united; inside there is a yellow-green columnar gynoecium, curved, the apex can be seen white fine hairs velvet.

Soft and light.

Aroma slightly fragrant, flavor faint.

The large, white and dry ones are the best.
