Qianxi chestnut, also known as JD.COM chestnut, has a beautiful appearance, reddish brown, light waxy layer, bright and shiny; Nuts are beige, the endothelium is easy to peel, the meat is tender, waxy and sticky, sweet and delicious, and rich in nutrition.

Produced in Qianxi County, Tangshan City, Hebei Province, it is a traditional agricultural product in Hebei Province. It has a cultivation history of more than 2,000 years and is recorded in many ancient books. In March 2008, Qianxi chestnut was recognized as a well-known trademark in China by the Trademark Office of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce.

Conditions of origin:

The special geological conditions in Qianxi County have created the most suitable soil conditions for chestnut planting in Qianxi County. The soil-forming parent materials needed for chestnut growth are gneiss, granite, quartz monzonite, quartz diorite and other loose weathered sandy and gravelly leached cinnamon soil. There are 3 soil types, 6 subtypes, 19 soil genera and 44 soil species in qianxi county.

Qianxi County has a mild climate due to the same season of water and heat, with a frost-free period of 183 days and the first frost period of about 10 and 17 days, which is roughly in line with the time when chestnut leaves enter dormancy.
