Breeding method of chrysanthemum 1
Chrysanthemum can be cultivated by ramet propagation, sowing propagation and cutting propagation. The operation of branching and cutting is relatively simple. One-year-old healthy branches were selected as ramets, which were divided into 10~ 15 plants. After cleaning and disinfection, the survival rate is very high.
2. Orchard soil
It is suggested that the soil for planting Chrysanthemum morifolium should be rich in humus nutrition, loose and fertile, and well drained. It can be prepared by mixing pastoral soil, sandy loam soil, humus soil and other materials, and adjusting the soil to alkalinity. The soil should be ploughed and exposed to the sun before use.
3. Water and fertilizer irrigation
Water to keep the soil moist, increase water appropriately in hot and dry weather, and reduce irrigation in low temperature environment. NPK compound fertilizer or other element fertilizers should be applied in the vigorous growth period, and cake fertilizer water or potassium dihydrogen phosphate solution can be used for topdressing in the flowering period to promote the growth and flowering of chrysanthemum.
4. Lighting
Chrysanthemum morifolium is a plant that likes light very much, so we must ensure sufficient light when maintaining it. At the same time, when encountering direct light, cover it properly to avoid burning branches and leaves. After winter, the light intensity decreases. If it rains for a long time, we should consider adding artificial light to supplement it.
