Usually, the temperature control of the refrigerator is adjusted by numbers or knobs. Numbers between 1~9 usually indicate different temperature ranges. The larger the number, the lower the refrigerator temperature. 3~4 degrees in summer is a reasonable range, but the actual temperature may be different due to the refrigerator model and environmental temperature.
Adjusting the temperature of the refrigerator to 3~4 degrees can keep the freshness of food and avoid excessive refrigeration. Too low temperature may cause food to freeze or frost, and increase energy consumption. Proper temperature can ensure food safety and keep the refrigerator running efficiently.
The working principle of refrigerator:
1. Refrigerant: A special substance called refrigerant (usually ammonia, freon or hydrofluorocarbon) is used in the refrigerator. Refrigerant has a low boiling point and can be evaporated and condensed at a lower temperature.
2. Compressor: There is a compressor inside the refrigerator, which is the core component of the refrigeration cycle. The function of compressor is to compress refrigerant vapor into high temperature and high pressure gas.
3. Condenser: High-temperature and high-pressure refrigerant gas passes through the condenser, which is a group of metal pipes located at the back or bottom of the refrigerator. In the condenser, the refrigerant releases heat and becomes a high-pressure liquid after heat dissipation.
4. Expansion valve: The high-pressure liquid refrigerant enters the refrigerator through the expansion valve (also known as the throttle valve), so that the high-pressure liquid rapidly expands into a low-pressure and low-temperature liquid-gas mixture.
5. Evaporator: The mixture of low-pressure and low-temperature refrigerant liquid and gas passes through the evaporator inside the refrigerator, which is a group of metal pipes or coils. In the evaporator, the refrigerant absorbs heat, thereby reducing the temperature in the evaporator.
6. Refrigeration effect: The evaporator absorbs the heat inside the refrigerator, so that the temperature of air and food in the refrigerator drops, thus achieving the effect of refrigeration and freezing.
7. Cycle: The refrigerant passing through the evaporator becomes low-temperature and low-pressure vapor, and then enters the compressor again to start a new refrigeration cycle.
