What are three and a half pieces of traditional Chinese medicine? I heard that they are eaten when children are developing.
Three and a half? That is, one or two angelica, codonopsis pilosula and Astragalus membranaceus, half of Achyranthes bidentata, and three and a half of the four traditional Chinese medicines are added together. The "three and a half" consists of: Radix Codonopsis pilosulae and honey-baked Astragalus membranaceus each 1 2 (about 30g), and all angelica, Rhizoma Cibotii preparata and Achyranthes bidentata each (about15g). Each paste is divided into three halves (equivalent to105g). Codonopsis pilosula inspires qi and blood, strengthens the spleen and produces fluid, calms the nerves and improves intelligence. Radix Astragali preparata can invigorate qi, consolidate exterior, promote diuresis, relieve sores, lift pus and lift muscles. Angelica sinensis can replenish blood and promote blood circulation, moisten dryness and smooth intestines, and grow muscles. Make the dog spine warm and nourish the liver and kidney, regulate the pulse, strengthen the waist and knees, and strengthen the spine. Achyranthes bidentata can tonify liver and kidney, and can induce various drugs to treat lumbocrural pain and foot weakness. The combination of all the medicines has the effects of invigorating qi, consolidating exterior, enriching blood and activating blood circulation, strengthening tendons and bones, dredging tendons and activating collaterals and promoting granulation. Indications are disharmony between qi and blood, muscle cramps and joint muscle pain caused by cold, so it is used to treat strain symptoms such as swelling of lumbar muscles, cramps and convulsions, cold pain, mental fatigue, weakness of lower limbs, aggravation after midnight, inability to turn over, restless sleep and so on.
