17 (Seventeen) is an American magazine for girls. The issuer is Hearst International Group. It was first published in 1944. Up to now, 17 is still the most popular publication. The contents of 17 include: fashion, trends, celebrities, beauty (skin care, hairstyle, makeup) and lifestyle.
America's top model rookie contest
Since the seventh season of the National Supermodel Rookie Contest in the fall of 2006, 17 has replaced ELLEgirl, and the winner will appear on the cover and inside page of 17. Caridee English, winner of the seventh season of America's Top Model Rookie Contest, became the cover of the February 2007 issue of17.
