The purpose of the bowl:
The general purpose is to hold food, and the bowl can be held by hand because of its smaller size than pots and pans. The shape of the upper part is wide and the lower part is narrow, which is unstable on the flat ground. Archaeologists speculate that the ancient people's use of bowls may have been originally placed in a pit dug in the ground.
Bowls made of argillaceous pottery dating back to the Neolithic Age are not much different from today's, that is, the mouth is big and the bottom is small, the mouth is wide and the bottom is narrow, and there are bowl feet under it. The height is generally half of the diameter of the mouth edge, mostly round and rarely square.
