Calcium oxalate crystals mainly come from food. After food is rich in oxalic acid and calcium, it will produce crystals in urine. Under normal circumstances, calcium oxalate crystals need not be cared too much, which is basically caused by diet. However, if calcium oxalate exists in urine for a long time, it is easy to accumulate and form urinary calculi, which can appear from the kidney to the whole urinary tract.
Note: If crystals in urine are found to be large in volume and quantity, accompanied by red and white blood cells, attention should be paid to check whether there are stones and whether treatment is needed. If there are no stones, it is recommended to drink more water, exercise more and reduce foods containing folic acid and calcium for a period of time, and the situation will be improved.
