First of all, Yonghe Soymilk, originated in Yonghe County, Taiwan, is a famous restaurant brand in Taiwan.
Then again, in 1995, a Taiwan Yonghe Soymilk high imitation products, from the store decoration style to the business content are very similar, even the name is also high imitation, called "Yonghe Soymilk King". Later, Yonghe Soymilk discovered the case and sued to the court. After the court's judgment, it was found that "Yonghe Soymilk King" belonged to the copycat product and awarded "Yonghe Soymilk King" compensation of 2 million yuan for the infringement loss of Yonghe Soymilk and it was not allowed to use the name of "Yonghe Soymilk King" at the same time. The court awarded "Yonghe Soymilk King" 2 million yuan in damages for the infringement of copyright. So "Yonghe Soymilk King" changed its name to "Yonghe Dawang" after paying 2 million RMB, and has been using the name since then. Later (2004?) Yonghe Dawang merged with Joy Peak in the Philippines, and "Yonghe Dawang" was successfully cleansed from its cottage identity and became a company under Joy Peak.
