As the hometown of melons and fruits, Xinjiang's superior natural environment, long illumination time and temperature difference between day and night mostly bring favorable conditions for watermelon growth, among which the watermelon in the wild is sweet and sandy, which is famous all over the country.

3. Watermelon in Ningxia

Watermelons in Ningxia are generally listed in mid-July every year. According to legend, Kangxi once praised the sweetness and delicacy of watermelons in Ningxia and gave him the praise of "the king of melons". The long sunshine time and large temperature difference between day and night in Ningxia strengthened the synthesis of glucose, vitamins and other components in watermelons.
