The corridor that connects the pavilions. In the courtyard, there are four kinds of corridors: the east and west sides of the center door turn to lead to the east and west compartments is the coping corridor; the east and west compartments to the north and then turn to lead to the main house is the nest corner corridor; the east and west compartments and the front of the main house have a gable corridor, which is connected to the coping corridors and nest corner corridors to form a hinged character, so that people can walk around the corridors without worrying about being wet in rainy days; there is also another kind of corridor that is longitudinal or transverse to connect two or more courtyards.
