The correct way to use the Haima Knife red wine bottle opener is as follows:
1. Use a knife to rotate along the mouth of the bottle to cut the tinfoil sealing cap. Be careful to change hands, do not turn the bottle, and keep it in place while cutting. The knife surface should be smooth to avoid leaving debris that could affect the quality of the wine.
2. Insert the corkscrew tip of the corkscrew into the center of the cork, then hold the auger upright and slowly rotate it clockwise to drill into the cork. Be careful to keep it vertical and don't drill crookedly, otherwise the cork will be easily pulled out.
3. When the auger bit drills into the cork until there is still one ring, use the first level of the seahorse knife to block the mouth of the bottle. Fix the first level with one hand and lift the seahorse knife with the other hand. The handle of the knife is used to pull out the cork using the lever principle. Be careful not to break the cork.
4. After the first level has pried up the cork, use the second level to continue to pry up the lower part. Then with the cork fully open, gently turn it off.
