1, breeding pool farming
Building a breeding pool for large-scale breeding is the mainstream way, the advantage is that it can be built according to their own needs, and easy to manage. For profit considerations, in the case of maximizing profits, the size of the scorpion pool are not large, so you can build a few more. Brick to build the pool is basically a square of about 1 meter, so there is an effective way to reduce the light for the scorpion's interference.
The center is filled with porous bricks, tiles and other substances, the gap left a little larger, so that the scorpion has more living space, the top depending on the situation to choose whether to use the mesh screen sealed.
2, natural farming
Naturalized farming has been on the rise in recent years because the demand for it is increasing. Choose a quiet, dark place in the wild, then build an enclosure with a height of about 80 centimeters and seal the bottom with cement, leaving no gaps.
Clean up some of the things in the middle that take up space, then build a special brick pile with many gaps, and use tiles on the outside to block out the sunlight, leaving plenty of gaps in advance. Then clear out a special feeding area and shade it from the sun, and you're basically done.
3, wooden frame breeding
Wooden frame breeding method is some farmers in order to better utilize the space to come up with ways. Build a wooden frame, put a wooden box in the center, each box is reserved for mesh, feeding mouth, the top can be opened flexibly. The bottom of the wooden box is covered with the common breeding scorpion bedding, you can choose to put some tiles and other items, or not.
This way of breeding food should be put many times in small amounts, one side of the large amount of food residue. Also regularly check the food residue inside. So the mesh must be easy to see the whole box.
4, porcelain tank farming
Tank farming is a relatively old way of breeding, generally more special varieties will be used in this type of breeding methods, but there are legends that the scorpion raised in this way is more productive. Place the tank flat on the ground, with a large mouth for easy harvesting, check for any gaps, and patch the gaps.
The bottom of the tank needs to be filled with about 5 centimeters after the centimeter, to dry a little bit, and then put in special bricks, sponges, and other items to fill, to be placed into the present gentle slope, easy for scorpions to climb, the minimum distance from the mouth of the tank about 30 centimeters. The mouth of the tank is sealed with a fine mesh to facilitate ventilation. The tank is placed in a relatively dark environment.
Scorpion breeding at room temperature
1, light: scorpion hut should be built in a place with high foundation and full sunlight. Where there is sunlight, scorpions have fewer diseases and mites can't survive.
2, humidity: the scorpion body water content of about 40% of body weight, the general situation will not be due to lack of water physiological lesions. Long rain and drought air dry season, can be to the scorpion stack above the cistern water, so that the nest soil wet. Cover the scorpion hut with a plastic sheet in heavy rain to avoid the water inside the hut to wash out the scorpion stack. Remember: scorpions rely on moisture absorption to replenish water, it is not appropriate to drink water directly.
Scorpion activity sites should be slightly more humid, air relative humidity of 80% is appropriate. Habitat nest humidity should not be too high, hibernation to avoid freezing, humidity to 10%-12% is appropriate. The water content of the soil in the nest will directly affect the survival of the scorpion.
3, temperature: the growth and development of scorpions suitable temperature between 20-39 ℃, the temperature at 20-39 ℃ when the strongest appetite, fast growth, moulting smooth, and is the optimal temperature for mating and breeding. Natural scorpions must be raised in late spring and fall with plastic sheeting to shorten the hibernation time. When the temperature is lower than 10 ℃, the scorpion stops growing and enters hibernation, and when the temperature is between 8-15 ℃, the scorpion seems to be sleeping, but not sleeping, and sometimes active. In the spring after the sting most scorpions dry, drag the tail, slow activity, lack of appetite, high mortality rate. 3-6 ℃ is the best hibernation temperature.
4, feed: scorpions love to eat containing high protein, low fat and body soft juicy active insects, on the rotten smell, have a special smell, death, stagnant insects do not love to eat. The yellow mealworm reproduces fast, has a short growth cycle, does not require high conditions of feeding equipment, is easy to feed, and is rich in nutrients, so it is the best feed for scorpions. The earth yuan, rat women and so on can only be used as supplementary feed.
5, growth and development: as long as the temperature and humidity are suitable, there is enough sunlight, delicious feed, the scorpion will reproduce and grow. To achieve success in raising scorpions, we should also pay attention to the ecological environment of the scorpion shed site, the quality of scorpion species, the management of the pups, the density of molt, the prevention and control of diseases, the scorpion's escape prevention, the defense of natural enemies, and so on, which should not be neglected.
