Distribution range of mistletoe fern
Mistletoe fern is distributed in Jiangsu, Anhui, Jiangxi, Zhejiang, Fujian, Taiwan Province, Hainan, Hubei, Hunan, Guangdong, Guangxi, Sichuan, Chongqing, Guizhou and Yunnan in China. Epiphytic tree trunks or rocks, occasionally in crevices of walls, at an altitude of 100- 1800 meters. Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, northern Thailand and India (Assam) also have it.
About Adiantum
Adiantum, the rhizome is slender and transverse, densely covered with brown lanceolate scales. The stalk is long and slender, chestnut black, shiny, the leaves are ovate-triangular, pointed, the base is wedge-shaped, the pinna are alternate, obliquely upward, oblong-oval, round and blunt, the tips of fertile lobes are truncated, straight or slightly sunken, and the sporangium group is transverse to the upper edge of the fertile terminal pinnae; Indusium's long, long kidney forms a round kidney shape, which is yellowish green, and the peripheral wall of spores has coarse grain patterns, which are often preserved after treatment.
