Jellies sold outside generally contain preservatives because they need to be stored for a long time. Homemade jelly does not have such additives, but the storage time will not be too long.
Today we will not make jelly to make a panna cotta that is even simpler than jelly. You only need 3 ingredients to make a delicious panna cotta. The finished panna cotta will be elastic, tender and smooth. , my children especially like to eat it.
Mango Milk Jelly
Ingredients: 3 mangoes, 300ml milk, 200ml whipping cream, 50g sugar, 7.5g gelatin sheets, appropriate amount of blueberries.
Method:
1. Soak the gelatin sheets in water until soft. 2. Mango, take the flesh of one and puree it, sieve to remove impurities and set aside. Take two pieces of meat for decoration. 3. Pour the sifted mango puree, milk, light cream, and sugar into the casserole, stir evenly, and bring to a boil over low heat, then turn off the heat. Pour in the soaked gelatin sheets and stir until evenly incorporated. 4. Let the casserole sit at room temperature and then put it in the refrigerator until it is completely solidified. Take it out and add mango puree and blueberries and it’s done!
Papaya Milk Jelly
Ingredients: Yellow papaya (1 piece), milk (400ml), gelatine tablets (3 pieces), white sugar (appropriate amount)
Method:
1. Wash the papaya first and cut the top. Use a spoon to scoop out the seeds inside and set aside. 2. Prepare 3 pieces of gelatine, add appropriate amount of cold water and soak until soft. 3. Pour the milk into the pot and heat over low heat (do not boil it). 4. Add appropriate amount of sugar and stir to melt. 5. Add the soaked gelatine sheets and stir to melt.
6. After boiling the milk, turn off the heat and pour it into the papaya (no milk is left at all, because I used a measuring cup to measure how much milk is needed in advance). 7. Cover the top of the newly cut papaya, secure it with toothpicks, and place it in the refrigerator to chill overnight.
Cranberry custard
Ingredients: 100g dried cranberries, 400g light cream, 90g sugar, fish gelatin.
Method:
1. Soak the fish film in ice water to soften and set aside. 2. Bring the whipping cream and sugar to a boil. 3. Add cranberries to the boiled whipped cream and simmer for 10 minutes. 4. Add the softened isinglass flakes to the whipping cream. The whipping cream needs to be hot. 5. Pour the mixture into a container and put it in the refrigerator to solidify.
