Yunnan borders Guizhou Province and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in the east, Sichuan Province in the north, Xizang Autonomous Region in the northwest corner, Myanmar in the west and Laos and Vietnam in the south. The total length of the border between Yunnan Province and its neighboring countries is 4060 kilometers, including: China-Myanmar section 1997 kilometers, China-Laos section 7 10 kilometers, and China-Vietnam section 1353 kilometers. Yunnan, referred to as Yun (Dian) for short, is located in the southwest border of China.
