Accessories: the right amount of sugar and water.
Step 1. Soak the bought cherries in light salt water and rinse them off.
2. Gently remove the cherry stems.
3. Insert the chopsticks from the bottom of the cherry and insert them evenly until the cherry pit is pushed out, so as to keep the cherry pulp intact.
4. After all the cores are taken out, sprinkle some sugar to pickle the cherries for a while.
5. Add some water to the pot, and then pour the cherries in.
6. Cook cherries over high heat.
7. Cook on low heat for a few minutes, then turn off the heat.
8. Pour the cooked cherries and sugar water into a clean jar.
9. Cover the lid tightly and cook in boiling water for a few minutes. Turn off the fire until it gets cold and store it in the refrigerator.
