It is said that Qin Shihuang sent Shi Lu to lead migrant workers to dig a Lingqu, and the Lingqu was completed. Qin Shihuang, accompanied by Prime Minister Lisi, toured Guilin's landscape incognito. His brother has a hobby. He likes to drink wine with carp whiskers and fish bellies. It's crispy. When I came to the Lijiang River, I saw, wow, the carp in the Lijiang River can be held up with my hands. I was so happy that he patted his ass and asked the boatman to get it quickly, and a lot of money was given. I don't know how many carp are needed for a meal to fry a sea bowl. Qin Shihuang spent half a month in the upper reaches of Lijiang River and killed thousands of carp. Magikarp jumped up in the Lijiang River and vowed to turn Qin Shihuang's cruise ship over and let him die! Hebo knew the warning, saying that things of emperors should not be messed around. You should find another way quickly. Magikarp used his quick wits to make fish whiskers (rice flour) and fish bellies (minced powder) from rice. Qin Shihuang ate it and was amazed. Since then, Guilin rice noodles have come out.
Later, Qin Shihuang's "burning books to bury Confucianism" became an eternal tyrant, and the people didn't like him. He simply changed the legendary content of Guilin rice noodles into a young man who ferried on taohuajiang and saved Magikarp of Lijiang River. Magikarp asked him what he wanted in return. The young man was a dutiful son, saying that his old mother was sick and had a bad appetite. Magikarp listened to him and taught him to learn the technology of making rice noodles. Once the old mother ate it, it was delicious and digested. Because the young man is a Yao, it is said that rice noodles were first made by Yao compatriots. Once upon a time, a wooden carp was always hung on the embossed lattice window of the rice noodle workshop, which was based on these legends.
Legend goes back to legend. Which one made Guilin rice noodles? Originally, in order to unify China, the King of Qin Yingzheng sent Tu Sui to lead 5, troops to South Vietnam, and then sent Shi Lu to lead migrant workers to dig Lingqu to connect Xiangjiang River and Lijiang River to solve the transportation problem. The ethnic minorities in South Vietnam are brave and tough and refuse to obey the king of Qin. Qin Jun couldn't get rid of armor for three years, and his weapon never left his hand, which shows the fierce battle. Because South Vietnam is located in the mountainous area, the traffic is inconvenient, Qin Jun is not acclimatized, and the food supply is difficult, a large number of soldiers often go hungry and get sick. According to the production method of northern noodles, Qin Jun cooks used Xing 'an rice to produce the new noodles, which are famous all over the world today.
There are many legends about Guilin rice noodles. Some people say that it was invented by soldiers when Qin Shihuang sent troops to build a Lingqu. Some people say that when Kyle Polo, an Italian, came to Guilin, he discovered it and brought it to Italy, and it was transformed into today's spaghetti. Since these stories are legends, there is no way to verify them.
However, we visited Dunmu Village, Jiashan Township, Yanshan District, Guilin, the birthplace of Guilin rice noodles, and heard such a legend:
A long time ago, there was a young man named Mu Ge who was ferrying to taohuajiang. His family was poor, his heart was kind, and he lived with an old and sick mother. There are two villages near taohuajiang. In order to compete for land and forests, ancestors fought each other from generation to generation. Brother Mu was very sad when he saw it, and he persuaded him many times. In the end, it was of no help because people spoke lightly.
One evening, Brother Mu was preparing to go home when he suddenly saw a fierce osprey swooping down from the air. He picked up a carp and was about to fly. Just then, Brother Mu raised his harpoon and threw it at the osprey, and got off the carp.
The carp is the youngest daughter of the Dragon King. In order to repay Brother Mu, I left some carp whiskers for him to take back and make, and told him how to make them.
Brother Mu served a bowl to his old mother. Suddenly, her hair turned black, her wrinkles disappeared, her illness healed, and her back became tough. The aroma of rice noodles ran out of Mu Ge's house and floated for more than ten miles. People nearby came here smelling the fragrance, vying for Brother Mu to teach them how to cook Guilin rice noodles.
Brother Mu asked to stop fighting to teach them how to make it, and they agreed. Mu Ge taught them to make rice noodles according to the method taught by carp. On the day of the formal ceremony, men, women and children from two hostile villages came and held a grand rice noodle banquet. The heads of the two villages bowed down to Mu Ge and swore to make peace from generation to generation and never fight!
Later, these two villages merged into one village, named "Neighbourly Lane" or "Dunmu Village", which means to urge harmony. People from dozens of miles in Fiona Fang came here to learn how to make rice noodles. Gradually, there are rice noodles in many places in Guilin.
among the numerous legends of Guilin rice noodles, people generally take a fancy to this one, because it is both romantic and beautiful, and has modern significance.
