Remember these five acupoints
Ganshu point
Efficacy: soothing the liver and benefiting gallbladder, regulating qi and improving eyesight.
Acupoint selection: the patient takes a prone position, and the operator presses the thumb of both hands on the point of Ganshu respectively, and rotates and rubs it in the direction of the spine for 20~30 times; Then rub the periphery of Ganshu point with your palms for 30~50 times until local fever occurs.
Zhangmen point
Efficacy: soothing the liver and strengthening the spleen, regulating qi and relieving depression, and clearing away damp-heat.
Acupoint selection: stick the thenar of both hands on the same side of Zhangmen point and gently knead it 20~30 times in the direction of abdominal midline; Then stick your palms on the acupoints respectively, and wipe them obliquely back and forth in the direction of navel for 20~30 times.
Yongquan point
Efficacy: expelling wind and removing dampness, warming yang and reducing swelling, treating insomnia, and clearing away heat and fire.
Take a sitting position, bend the calf, put the center of the foot to be rubbed up on the opposite thigh, and rub it back and forth from the heel to the toe for dozens or hundreds of times, then rub Yongquan point for 2~3 minutes: rub one foot and then rub the other foot. As mentioned above, the two feet are rubbed equally.
Taichong point
Efficacy: calming the liver and calming the wind, clearing away heat and promoting diuresis, dredging collaterals and relieving pain.
Acupoint selection: take a sitting position, press the fingertips of your thumb or middle finger on the same side of Taichong point on the back of your foot, and first press it or pinch it with your thumb nail for 3~5 times; Then knead it for 20~30 times.
Yinlingquan point
Efficacy: hypochondriac pain, hypochondriac pain due to liver depression, hypochondriac pain due to damp heat.
Acupoint selection: take a sitting position, press the middle finger ends of both hands on Yanglingquan point on the same side respectively, and press 3~5 times according to the method; Then put your thumb and middle finger on Yinling Spring and Yangling Spring respectively, and press 1~5 times with both fingers; Then knead Yanglingquan point for 20~30 times.
