Step 1: Soak in cool water. Take a number of dried sea cucumbers and soak them in pure water for 24-48 hours, the soaking time is appropriate to be able to soften them and cut them with scissors. In the meantime, change the water every 12 hours or so, and in summer, it is recommended to place it in the refrigerator to keep it fresh. Then use scissors to cut from the tail to the mouth, and remove the white limestone of the head (sea cucumber teeth), clean and spare.

Step 2: Slow Cooking. Fill 3/4 pure water with oil-free vessel, put the cleaned sea cucumber into it, boil it and then slow cook it for 30-40 minutes (40-60 minutes for 40 heads), then turn off the fire and let it simmer naturally for 4-6 hours . .

Step 3: Ice water soaking. Put the sea cucumber into a vessel with pure water (or distilled water), put it into the refrigerator preservation (put the pure water ice cubes in the water which is made in advance, the ice-water mixture 0℃), and soak it for 24-48 hours (change the water once in the middle).
After the above three steps, the sea cucumber can be directly processed and eaten. If you have unfinished sea cucumber, it will shrink gradually if you continue to soak it, you can put the sea cucumber into a plastic bag and freeze it for 10 hours, and then take it out and thaw it directly later.
