It is not advisable to eat too much spinach.
This is mainly because spinach contains more oxalic acid. The zinc and calcium in food can easily combine with oxalic acid and be excreted from the body, causing zinc and calcium deficiency in the body. Zinc deficiency can cause a lack of appetite, decreased sense of taste, and stunted growth in children; calcium deficiency can cause poor development of bones and teeth, and even chondrosis. Therefore, you should not eat too much spinach; and before cooking, it is best to blanch it in boiling water or soak it in hot water to reduce the oxalic acid content.
