2. Thin-shell sweet kernels
The nuts are large, the core shell is 0.11 to 0.15 cm thin, the kernel yield rate is 37.6% to 53.7%, the fruit matures in August, and the yield is medium to small.
3. Medium-shell sweet kernels
Nuts mostly have large shells with a thickness of 0.16 to 0.25 cm, a kernel yield of 25.0% to 49.0%, and a high yield.
4. Thick-shelled sweet kernels
Nuts are mostly large-fruited, with a shell thickness of more than 0.26 cm, low kernel yield, and high yield.
5. Medicinal almonds
The kernels are bitter, the nuts are large, and the shell thickness is 0.05 cm to 0.14 cm. The kernel yield rate is generally 50% to 80%. It matures early and has high yield.
