Proper installation of electric lamps and fluorescent lamps in civil air defense fortifications can solve the problems of mushroom growth and development and lighting for operators.

All kinds of cultivated mushroom mycelia can be cultured in all-black conditions at the growth stage, and only the illumination of the staff needs to be considered at this time. During the fruiting period, we should focus on the light needed for the growth and development of fruiting bodies. Besides Agaricus bisporus and Pleurotus ostreatus, edible fungi such as Pleurotus ostreatus, Tremella, Hericium erinaceus and Flammulina velutipes all need appropriate scattered light to ensure the normal growth and development of fruiting bodies. See Table 7 for the light requirements of several edible fungi.

And paint the inner wall of the fortifications white to facilitate reflection. During the mushroom growing period, the light-on time should be appropriately increased or decreased according to the cultivated mushrooms. Generally, turning on the light for 4 ~ 8 hours every day can meet the light demand for the normal growth and development of cultivated edible mushroom fruiting bodies.
