Sketch illustrations for elementary school students steps are as follows:
1, first draw a circular arc line on the paper, and a circular arc hook.
2, then this arc on the other side of the line continue to draw an arc plus arc hook.
3. Connect the two arcs together. The large body of the bunny has come out.
4, in the bunny's head on top of the drawing on the two short ears, so that more look cute and lovely.
5, and then proceed to draw the eyes of the bunny, and another hand.
6, and finally add a bow tie as a decoration. Fill the bow tie with your favorite color, and then under the eyes with a pink pen to draw a few points as blush. The whole pair of simple hand-painted small pattern is completed.
Illustration is a kind of pictures attached to books, newspapers and magazines, which can play a complementary role to the content of the text, thus highlighting the theme of the article and improving the artistic expression. In elementary school art teaching, the form of illustration is more rich and diverse, and many illustrations are interesting and vivid, so that students are more receptive to improve the expression of art teaching content.
In art teaching, teachers usually let students first appreciate some illustrations and text in the textbook, after letting students clear the content of the study before letting students to complete a work of art, and in the process of appreciating the illustrations, students are easily attracted by the rich patterns and colors on the illustrations, through the illustrations in the landscape and characters can be associated with a lot of pictures, which can enhance the students' imagination and enhance the students' creative work, and improve the students' imagination. It can improve students' imagination and improve students' ability to use their hands and brains.

How to draw a linear illustration landscape from scratch? Come to see the master's design ideas summarized!
Have been studying the line, you will find that the line in addition to the performance of our ordinary daily iconization of the individual outside, but also can be expressed in a larger and more complex landscapes. But the latter will have a certain degree of difficulty, if the line is thicker in the case, especially can not be better to show the details (such as to show the clouds or floating willow in the air, etc.). I was a bit stuck on this idea and didn't make any progress.
After a couple days, I was suddenly inspired to think of a way to "simplify". Trying to simplify, although it looks rough, it's a new level. I think we don't just want to create a landscape, but to convey the scenery. Therefore, the landscape was developed step by step with a combination of lines and color blocks.
Source of Inspiration
So I came up with this group of works, Dachan's Mirror, which is based on a thick line + landscape approach, with a focus on "color" (gradient combinations).
Tips:
This operation focuses on the process of design thinking, does not involve the specific details of the operation of the software, if the operation of the software is rusty partners, you can move here to see this simple quick start AI operation video.
△ to get the shape of the four methods: spell, reduce, cut, draw
Reference to the photo is not the same as copying the photo
Exterior painting, the need for a very generalized. Because our plan here is to draw the scene in a small round rectangular box, in fact, the space is very limited. Therefore, the line setting should also tend to be simple.
Simplicity is a very important idea, and you can begin to study it with photographs. Of course, when I was working on it, I didn't just draw on one photo, but I combined several photos for reference.
Refer to the layout, composition, and perspective of the photo and then refine the basic shapes.
If you're interested, you can watch the video below:
△How do I get inspired? A few tips for referencing photos
Building basic lines
If the details aren't too cumbersome, a simplified pattern can be expressed with the help of a grid. It depends on what you're used to, of course.
STEP01
Open AI, create a new document 1600 * 1600px. In this document draw a rounded rectangle, and then in this rounded rectangle in the layout. First use a few lines to outline the largest base shape. Outer frame lines using 30px, and the inner lines can be slightly reduced to 25px, and then thin can be changed to 20px.
Line thickness setting principle is to let it follow a certain sense of rhythm, such as are multiples of 5.
The pattern builds up the whole picture like building blocks.
STEP02
Continuing with the building block logic, we'll fill in the left side of the complex. At this point we need to learn to think beyond the "technical" level, which I have repeatedly emphasized to my students in my teaching experience: we are not learning how to paint the object, such as the townscape we are painting here. What we are learning is the creative thinking behind it.
Here's a quote from Feng Zikai's book Understanding Drawing:
"Drawing is like math and sports. Life is not necessarily about drawing apples, bananas, vases, and teapots. It is merely a study to train the human eye to be correct and sensitive, true and beautiful."
In this case, it means that through the process of drawing towns and buildings, one trains one's ability to model lines. And this ability is expressed in the way that it fits the shape of the building and makes it look beautiful and natural.
STEP03
Continuing on, we optimize our shapes again. There are two levels of shape optimization to pay attention to:
Whether or not the shape articulation is closed
Whether or not the overall shape is uniform
These are the two directions of macro and micro. Then adjust the additions and deletions of shapes appropriately.
STEP04
Adding detail is generally the last step in the frame work. At this point, we have to switch the perspective: at first we see the role of the line as the establishment of the outline, then, need to take the line as a detailed portrayal of the role. For example, here is an apple as an example, you will be able to understand. The two roles of the line: outline and depiction, can be reflected here.
So the details added here (windows, doors, waves, seabirds, etc.) all play a role in depicting the line.
At this point our outline lines are complete. At this point they can be extended in appearance.
In many logo designs, this is the end of the line, as most flat logos only need an outline, and the color can be a random monochrome.
Color framework
Establishing a color framework is actually finding a way to look at color. Use the relationship between two colors to evolve a color array. You can learn more about color arrays in the video below.
△Color Array: A Color Framework for Beginners
STEP01
Based on the theory above, I obtained this color array. Our colors start here. The primary color is determined to be blue (which is inspired by our photos), and the secondary colors are pink and mint green.
STEP02
Of course, the purpose of the color array is not to use all the colors, but to simplify them as we see fit. Keep experimenting with key colors to find the best combinations.
Use the Shape Builder tool to apply color and distribute the main colors.
STEP03
Continuing with the last color, mint green, it's important to note the subtle changes in color, where a single color appears to make everything look perfect, but once a second color is added, things start to get complicated.
This is also the same as our usual life, a person when everything is good, two people will appear interpersonal relationships. The complexity of the relationship that gives people headaches and joy brings more life and ups and downs.
We see that although we use secondary colors, but also in part of the color block to bring more color changes, which can also be easily done with the color array.
STEP04
The third color is red, which we can continue to use in the graphic.
STEP05
The main colors are controlled in three, and the remaining colors can continue to be fine-tuned on top of the existing colors, such as adjusting the brightness or saturation of the colors to get more subtle changes.
Note the use of white here.
Light and shadow gradients
It is because of light that we can see different colors. In line with this truth, gradation is also a very important coloring element if you want to get a richer sense of light.
STEP1
Before applying a gradient, my advice is to do a good job of painting it flat. The flat is to establish the overall color balance, and then fine-tune it according to the light conditions.
And with gradients, we need to be restrained, picking just one of the colors and then fine-tuning it within a narrow range of colors. For example, here we have a gradient in red, which creates some subtle changes in the color.
STEP2
Then we add shadows to the building, which are arranged according to the principle of "beauty and truth". Here may be many people will ask what is the "beauty and true" principle, the following is also from Feng Zikai's "understanding of painting" a description:
Pictures have both appreciation and practical effects. Appreciation is beautiful and utility is real, so the practice of drawing must take into account the two conditions of "truth" and "beauty". Specifically: for example, to depict a bottle of flowers, we need to carefully observe the shape, size, direction, and color of the flowers, leaves, and bottle, so as not to make any mistakes in depicting them. This is the "real" aspect of the work. At the same time, it is necessary to skillfully match and skillfully arrange the flowers to make them fit well. This is the work of "beauty".
Once you understand this principle, you can try to balance these two elements in your practice.
There are three things to keep in mind when creating shadows:
Finding the light source
Configuration of the shadow color
No need to be completely realistic
These three things can be demonstrated in more detail in the following video:
The three-step process for adding shadows to a △ line illustration
The finished result is as follows:
Dot highlights
This is the first step in adding shadows to a line illustration
This is the second step.
Dot highlights
The last step in the creation of the last step, here we add a small detail, but also suddenly thought of the finishing touch, to add dot highlights to the picture.
STEP1
In flat composition, a point can be a dot or a small square. In this image, we'll use the white cube to create the highlights of the image.
The addition of dotted highlights makes the image more vibrant.
The final result:
Afterword: the idea behind
Writing this article I organized three videos, through the video may give beginners more inspiration. I have always been entangled in the video or write an article on the two ways, originally thought that the article + video is the best way, each take what they need. But then the operation process found that the two roads can not be parallel. Only in the article, interspersed with more I think it is worth expanding the part.
The video as the article supplement, and the article as the video supplement. Although people say they don't have time to read text these days, and video is more straightforward, I've always found it easier to look up and record things I've learned by heart in text. Video and articles can't replace each other.
