Adiantum, (scientific name: Adiantum? capillus-veneris? L.), Adiantaceae, perennial herb, 0.1-0.6m high. Because of its slender stems and color like iron wire, it is named Adiantum. Adiantum is also an indicator of calcareous soil. Because it is afraid of dryness and strong sunlight, it must be placed in a place without direct sunlight for maintenance.
Widely distributed in Taiwan Province, Fujian, Guangdong, Guangxi, Hunan, Hubei and other places, it often grows on limestone beside flowing water stream or on limestone cave bottom and dripping rock wall, and is an indicator plant of calcareous soil, with an altitude of 100-2800 meters.
It has ornamental and medicinal values.
