Because honey is a product containing nutrients such as glucose and fructose. Because glucose crystallizes easily. Therefore, the honey separated from the hive will gradually crystallize after being placed at a certain temperature for a period of time. The speed of crystallization is related to grape crystal nucleus, temperature, moisture, honey source and many other factors.
Because crystalline honey can also be eaten directly, if there are small spoons or bamboo chopsticks under the bottle mouth, you can take them out and eat them directly.
If you have to melt it, you can use the following methods:
1. First heat a small pot or basin with clear water, and the capacity of clear water should not exceed the crystal honey bottle. When the temperature reaches about 60℃, turn off the fire, and stir the unopened honey bottle back and forth in hot water to make the crystal honey melt slowly, and then pour it out.
2. When the temperature is high at noon in summer, put the unopened crystal honey bottle in the yard or balcony and let the sun shine directly for about an hour, which can also melt some crystal honey.
It should be noted that neither of the above methods will restore the crystal honey to its original state. In order to restore the crystalline honey to its original state, it must be heated above 80℃, but heating above 80℃ will destroy the original nutritional components of honey, so this trip is not recommended.
Remember not to add water or hot water to the crystallized honey to melt it, because it is easy to deteriorate the honey after adding water, so it is not suitable for preservation. Of course, this method can also be considered when there is not much honey left.
