Use the low temperature environment of the refrigerator to inhibit the breeding of bacteria and microorganisms and prolong the time of eating live crabs. It is not recommended to freeze live crabs, because direct freezing will freeze them to death and lose their original flavor. After taking it out and heating it thoroughly, the meat quality of the crab will become firewood and loose, which will greatly affect the taste.
How to keep live crabs fresh;
Refrigeration method of refrigerator:
1. Tie the crab's feet tightly to reduce physical exertion, then put them in the freezer of the refrigerator and cover them with wet towels for preservation.
2. When eating every day, first choose crabs with insufficient vitality and sufficient vitality to continue to be preserved, and they will still taste fresh after 5-7 days. The way to distinguish the vitality of crabs is to touch their eyes with their hands. If they don't respond, it's a dying crab. Eat them first.
Normal temperature temporary cultivation method:
1. Prepare a plastic bucket/basin with a height of 30-50 cm and put the crabs in it. Don't stack them.
2. Then add water to half the height of the crab to moisturize. Don't bury all crabs. If the water is too deep, crabs will suffocate due to lack of oxygen.
3. Don't cover the bucket/basin, check the hairy crabs every day, and eat the hairy crabs with insufficient vitality in time, so as to preserve the crabs. When the temperature is not high, they can eat for more than 5 days.
