White eel, also known as eel, is a kind of meaty fish that many people like to eat.
Nutritional value of white eel
Nutritional richness. The skin and meat of the eel are rich in collagen, which is known as an "edible cosmetic" because it can beautify the face and slow down the aging process.
The Japanese eel (Anguilla japonica temminck et Schlegel) is a river migratory fish, native to the sea, which grows in fresh water and then returns to the sea to spawn. Every spring, large numbers of juvenile eels (also called white eels and eel lines) emerge from the sea in large schools into estuaries. It is a traditionally prized fish and one of the most mysterious fish in the world. Its growth process is strange. It first lays its eggs in seawater and then grows in freshwater. Eels can survive a year and a half of "hunger strike" and farmed eels can live up to 50 years.
