But at present, there is no special breed of meat dog in the world, and China is no exception. At present, in China, many large, fast-growing, coarse-food-tolerant and muscular local breeds are kept as meat dogs. There are mainly the following breeds that can be used as meat dogs in China.

(1) Tibetan mastiff

Also known as Tibetan dog, crazy dog, Tibetan dog and Qiang dog. Originated in pastoral areas of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. Due to the long-term lack of breeding of Tibetan mastiffs, there are not many excellent ones, and standard purebred tibetan mastiff is more common in pastoral areas. ② Bear lion dog

Bear lion dogs are also called Song Shi dogs, Wang Wang dogs and Jojo dogs.
